If it's... then it's still okay, but.... The other case is still acceptable, this case is too much.
注意 / Note：Close meaning 〜ならいざしらず; The second part is dissatisfaction and criticism.
比較 / Compare：〜ならまだしも ≒ 〜ならいざしらず（5課）; The latter are all discontent.
よく出る形 / Common form：名／普通形＋ならまだしも＋（〜のはおかしい・許せない）.
一度ならまだしも、三度も同じミスをするとは。
Once is okay, but making the same mistake three times is really bad.
安いならまだしも、高くてまずいのだから二度と行かない。
It's okay if it's cheap, but if it's expensive and bad, I won't go again.
