About
JNews is an independent project built to solve a specific problem: JLPT grammar material for Vietnamese learners is either too thin or is machine-translated from English.
What we do
JNews publishes Japanese study material organised by JLPT level, focused on grammar — the part learners usually lose the most time on, because good explanations of nuance are hard to find.
Every grammar point gets its own page covering formation, meaning and nuance, usage restrictions, comparison with patterns it is easily confused with, and translated example sentences.
How the content is made
All explanations are written by us, based on standard textbooks and teaching experience. We do not machine-translate and publish as-is.
We use tooling to help draft material, but everything is reviewed and edited by a person before it goes live. If you spot an error, please tell us.
Free and open
Every lesson is readable without an account. Running costs are covered by advertising shown on the site.
