Give & receive — あげる/くれる/もらう and form てV
接続：（私）は （人）に Vて形 ＋ あげる
Doing something to help someone — emphasizes grace through actions, not giving things.
注意 / Note：Speaking directly to the other person is easy to sound arrogant（'I'm doing it for you'）. For superiors, you should change it to 〜ましょうか or 〜させていただきます.
比較 / Compare：荷物を持ってあげましょうか（somewhat superior）／荷物をお持ちしましょうか（humble — safe）.
よく出る形 / Common form：（人）に Vてあげます／てさしあげます。
わたしは友だちに本を貸してあげました。
I lent you the book.
妹に日本語を教えてあげます。
I will teach Japanese to my sister.
犬を散歩に連れて行ってやった。
I took the dog for a walk.
