Give & receive — あげる/くれる/もらう and form てV
接続：（人）が （私・私側）に Nを くれる
(Someone) gives it to me — the recipient is always me or someone on my side.
注意 / Note：If the person giving is a superior, use the honorific くださる（→くださいます）. The recipient, which is me, often omits 私に.
比較 / Compare：友だちが私に本をくれた（you give me）／私は友だちに本をあげた（I give you）.
よく出る形 / Common form：（人）が（私に）Nをくれました／くださいました。
友だちがわたしに花をくれました。
My friend gave me flowers.
先生が辞書をくださいました。
The teacher gave me the dictionary.
兄が弟におもちゃをくれた。
My older brother gave my younger brother a toy.
