接続：（目上）が Vてくださる ↔ （私）は（目上）に Vていただく

Honorable words of giving - receiving through actions. くださる = respect (viewed from above), いただく = humble (viewed from me).

注意 / Note：Same incident, two points of view. In business letters and emails, 〜ていただき、ありがとうございます is the standard form.

比較 / Compare：先生が教えてくださいました／先生に教えていただきました — same meaning, just different subject.

よく出る形 / Common form：〜ていただき、ありがとうございます。／〜ていただけますか。

先生が推薦状を書いてくださいました。

He wrote a letter of introduction for me.
