Heard, apparently... — speculation based on information from outside (news, rumors, other people's stories).
注意 / Note：The speaker stands outside, not responsible for the information. There is also the meaning of 'proper': 男らしい, 春らしい.
比較 / Compare：らしい（heard from an external source）／そうだ・伝聞（heard — more neutral）／ようだ（I noticed it myself）.
よく出る形 / Common form：〜によると、〜らしい。／Nらしい N。
天気予報によると、明日は雨らしい。
According to the weather forecast, it looks like it will rain tomorrow.
あの店はもう閉店したらしいですよ。
I heard that restaurant is closed.
今日は春らしい天気ですね。
The weather today is very spring-like.
