Speculation & certainty — はず, よう, らしい, そう, かもしれない
接続：ふつう形 ＋ そうだ
It is said that… — conveys the information as it is without adding judgment.
注意 / Note：The distinction is connection: 伝聞 is attached to ふつう形（降るそうだ）, 様態 is attached to ます形（降りそうだ）. There is no form そうな／そうに.
比較 / Compare：降るそうだ（I heard it's going to rain）／降りそうだ（it looks like it's about to rain）— this is a very common exam question.
よく出る形 / Common form：〜によると、ふつう形＋そうです。
ニュースによると、来週から寒くなるそうだ。
According to the news, it will be cold next week.
田中さんは来月結婚するそうです。
I heard that Mr. Tanaka is getting married next month.
あの店のラーメンはおいしいそうですよ。
I heard that ramen noodles are very good.
