Speculation & certainty — はず, よう, らしい, そう, かもしれない
接続：Vたい の語幹 ＋ がる（行きたい→行きたがる）
(Third person) wants to do… — objectively describe the wishes of another person.
注意 / Note：Same principle as がる. The current state uses たがっている. The object changes が→を.
比較 / Compare：（私は）行きたいです／（弟は）行きたがっています.
よく出る形 / Common form：（第三者）は Nを Vたがっている。
弟は新しいゲームをやりたがっている。
My younger brother wants to play a new game.
子どもたちは外へ出たがっています。
The kids are wanting to go out.
彼は日本へ留学したがっていた。
He wanted to study abroad in Japan.
