接続：名 ＋ を余儀（よぎ）なくされる／を余儀なくさせる
Forced to…（due to circumstances）／forced to…. 〜される＝self forced; 〜させる＝a reason to force others to do something.
注意 / Note：The subject of 〜させる is cause (natural disaster, economy...). Very common in the press: 中止を余儀なくされた.
比較 / Compare：〜を余儀なくされる（self forced）↔ 〜を余儀なくさせる（cause to force others） — see subject to choose.
よく出る形 / Common form：名＋を余儀なくされる／を余儀なくさせる。Journalism.
台風のため、大会は中止を余儀なくされた。
Because of the storm, the conference was forced to cancel.
経営の悪化が工場の閉鎖を余儀なくさせた。
Worsening business forced the factory to close.
感染拡大が営業時間の短縮を余儀なくさせた。
The spreading epidemic has forced opening hours to be shortened.
