Done, completed, appeared — unintentional usage of できる: rice is cooked, house is built, new shop grows.
注意 / Note：Not in the sense of 'can'. Recognize through context: 食事ができた = rice is ready (not 'can eat').
比較 / Compare：日本語ができます（capacity）／ごはんができました（done）— same word, completely different meaning.
よく出る形 / Common form：Nができました。／Nができる（新しくできた店）.
ごはんができましたよ。早く来てください。
The rice is done. Get out quickly.
駅前に新しいビルができました。
In front of the station, a new building has arisen.
友だちがたくさんできました。
I have made many friends.
