Ability — ability form, 見える/聞こえる, ことができる

注意 / Note：の here nominalizes the entire clause. The subject inside the clause carries が: 子どもたちが遊んでいるのが見える.
よく出る形 / Common form：（誰・何）が V ているのが 見えます／聞こえます。
公園で子どもたちが遊んでいるのが見えます。
Saw the children playing in the park.
となりの部屋で誰かが話しているのが聞こえた。
Heard someone talking in the next room.
窓から雪が降っているのが見えます。
From the window I saw snow falling.
