Time relation — just now… then, as soon as, since
接続：動て形 ＋ からというもの(は)
Since… then (since then until now)…. After that milestone, there are big changes and the new state lasts forever.
注意 / Note：Do not use for the past that is too recent (eg さっき). The latter describes a continuing state, often accompanied by the speaker's emotions.
比較 / Compare：〜てから（only states the sequence）／〜てからというもの（big change + lasting + emotion）.
よく出る形 / Common form：動て形＋からというもの(は)。×さっき〜てからというもの（the past is too close）.
日本に来てからというもの、国の家族のことを思わない日はない。
Since coming to Japan, there hasn't been a day that I haven't thought about my family back home.
子供が生まれてからというものは、子供のおもちゃばかり見て歩いています。
Since having children, everywhere I go I only look at children's toys.
引っ越してからというもの、体調がずっといい。
