Depends on…. The result changes according to the content of that noun.
注意 / Note：いかん＝“how”. Very formal, used in official documents and announcements.
比較 / Compare：〜いかんだ／いかんで（depending → result changes）↔ 〜いかんによらず／を問わず（regardless → result does not change） — two opposite meanings.
よく出る形 / Common form：名（の）＋いかんだ／いかんで(は)。Official document.
試験の結果いかんで、進学先が決まる。
Depending on the exam results, decide where to continue studying.
