This policy is expected to be included in the interim summary of an expert panel reviewing consumer protection rules. Related legislation may be submitted to next year’s ordinary Diet session at the earliest. Cases such as unanswered phone calls and overly complicated procedures have become problems.
いわゆる「ダークパターン」と呼ばれる、消費者を意図しない行動に誘導する表示や操作も規制の対象です。お試しとうたいながら定期購入に導くケースなども問題視されています。消費者庁は、包括的な規律が必要だとしています。
