Please help me send a message that… — ask the listener to pass the message to a third person.

注意 / Note：The message content must be ふつう形 before と. Very often used when calling and the person you need to meet is absent.

よく出る形 / Common form：（人）に、〜と伝えていただけませんか。

田中さんに、後で電話すると伝えていただけませんか。

Can you please tell Tanaka that I will call you back later?

部長に、資料を机の上に置いたと伝えてください。

Please tell the department head that I have left the documents on the desk.

先生に、明日休むと伝えていただけませんか。
