Once... it's over (end of rescue). If you do that, it will definitely lead to bad consequences.

注意 / Note：The latter is always a negative, irreversible outcome. 〜たが最後 stronger and harder.

比較 / Compare：〜たら最後／〜たが最後（irreversible outcome）; 〜たが最後 is harder.

よく出る形 / Common form：動た形＋ら最後／が最後＋（悪い結果）.

彼はしゃべりだしたら最後、何時間でも止まらない。

Once he opened his mouth, he wouldn't stop talking no matter how many times he spoke.

If you lose this document, it's over, it cannot be reissued.
