接続：動た形 ＋ きり（〜ない）
Since… there is no… anymore. After that action, the state remains the same.
注意 / Note：Usually ends in negation in the latter part (出て行ったきり帰ってこない).
比較 / Compare：〜きり（then nothing continues, the latter is negative）／〜たまま（the state remains the same）.
よく出る形 / Common form：動た形＋きり＋〜ない.
彼は家を出て行ったきり、連絡もない。
He left home and then disappeared without any contact.
あの本は借りたきり、まだ読んでいない。
That book was borrowed and left there, still unread.
あの本は買ったきり、まだ開いてもいない。
That book was bought and left there, unopened.
