Cause & reason — precisely because…, because…, because it has been…
接続：動・イ形ば形／ナ形であれば／名であれば ＋ こそ
It's because... that's why.... Emphasize single, positive reason.
注意 / Note：The latter part usually ends with 〜のだ. Used to explain goodwill ("because we love you, we scold you").
比較 / Compare：〜ばこそ（only, positive reason, or combined with 〜のだ）／〜から（neutral reason）.
よく出る形 / Common form：動・イ形ば形／ナ形・名であれば＋こそ＋（〜のだ）.
あなたのことを思えばこそ、厳しいことを言うのです。
It was because I thought about you that I spoke harshly.
健康であればこそ、仕事も楽しめる。
It is because you are healthy that you can enjoy your work.
親であればこそ、子供に厳しくもなる。
It is because we are parents that we are strict with our children.
