注意 / Note：Admitting that A is real, but saying that just A is not enough — so the latter almost always states what needs to be done. There is ばかり so it differs from 〜ていられない in that it emphasizes excessive REPETITION.

比較 / Compare：Same article: 〜ていられない／〜ずにはいられない／〜ないではいられない. These models are often mistakenly chosen for each other — carefully read the 接続 and nuances above and then decide.

よく出る形 / Common form：動て形＋ばかりはいられない。The latter is usually 〜なければならない・〜つもりだ.

失敗を悔やんでばかりはいられない。

You can't keep regretting failure.

遊んでばかりはいられない。

Can't just play forever.
