接続：名 ＋ をおいて（〜ない）
Besides... there is no one/anything else. Appreciate: only this person/thing is number one.
注意 / Note：Always followed by a negative (〜ない). Bring praise and appreciation.
比較 / Compare：〜をおいて（only has this person/thing, always accompanied by 〜ない）／〜ならでは（unique characteristics）.
よく出る形 / Common form：名＋をおいて＋ほかに〜ない／いない.
この仕事を任せられるのは、彼をおいてほかにいない。
Besides him, there is no one else who can assign this job.
この村を救えるのは、この技術をおいてないだろう。
It would take nothing but that technology to save this village.
