Limited / unlimited / additional — only…, not only…, let alone…
接続：名 ＋ はおろか
Don't mention…, even… also…. The easier/lighter task can't be done, let alone the other one.
注意 / Note：The latter usually has さえ・も・まで and has a negative tone. Do not use for suggestions/commands.
比較 / Compare：〜はおろか（negative latter）↔ 〜はもちろん（positive posterior） — very often the wrong pair is chosen.
よく出る形 / Common form：名＋はおろか＋名＋も／さえ／まで＋〜ない。Do not use commands/suggestions.
手間がかかる料理はおろか、簡単な料理を作るのさえ面倒だ。
Don't talk about elaborate dishes, even cooking simple dishes makes me feel shy.
漢字はおろか、ひらがなも読めない。
Don't say Chinese characters, I can't even read hiragana.
