Give an example — either… or…, whether… or…, both… and…
接続：名／動辞書形 ＋ なり ＋ 名／動辞書形 ＋ なり
Or…, or… (whatever). Provide a few typical options for listeners to choose themselves.
注意 / Note：The latter part is usually a suggestion, advice, or command. Not used to talk about what happened.
比較 / Compare：〜なり〜なり（choice, the second part is a request/order）↔ 〜たり〜たり（list what happens）.
よく出る形 / Common form：名／動辞書形＋なり…なり＋（依頼・命令・助言）。Not used for something that has already happened.
分からないなら、辞書を引くなり先生に聞くなりしなさい。
If you don't understand, look up in the dictionary or ask the teacher something.
すしなりさしみなり、好きなものを注文してください。
Sushi or sashimi is fine, just order what you like.
困ったときは、私に相談するなり上司に聞くなりしてください。
When you have difficulty, ask me or ask your superiors for something.
