インドネシアの無料給食で食中毒5万人超え　保護者が政府機関を警察に告発

インドネシアのプラボウォ政権せいけんが進める無料むりょうの給食きゅうしょく事業において、食中毒しょくちゅうどくにかかった生徒せいとの保護者60人が、国家栄養庁などを警察に告発こくはつしました。全国で被害者は5万人を超えており、制度の安全管理あんぜんかんりが問題視されています。

In the free school meal program promoted by Indonesia's Prabowo administration, 60 parents of students affected by food poisoning have filed a police complaint against the National Nutrition Agency and other entities. Nationwide, the number of victims has exceeded 50,000, putting the safety management of the system under scrutiny.

ロイター通信などの報道によると、告発を行ったのは北スマトラ州カロの保護者たちです。カロでは8月中旬、無料給食を食べた中学校や高校など5校の生徒あわせて350人以上が、食中毒の症状しょうじょうを訴えうったえました。

According to reports by Reuters and other outlets, the parents who filed the complaint are from Karo, North Sumatra Province. In Karo in mid-August, more than 350 students across five middle and high schools reported food poisoning symptoms after consuming the free meals.

保護者らは8月31日、国家栄養庁や給食を調理ちょうりした施設しせつ、給食を提供ていきょうした学校に対して、過失かしつの疑いうたがいで捜査そうさするよう警察に求めました。さらに、政府を相手あいてとする損害賠償そんがいばいしょう請求せいきゅう訴訟そしょうも準備じゅんびしています。

On August 31, the parents requested police to investigate suspected negligence involving the National Nutrition Agency, the food preparation facilities, and the providing schools. Furthermore, they are preparing a compensation lawsuit against the government.

地元メディアによると、国家栄養庁の初期しょき調査ちょうさにより、給食に使われた魚200〜300匹が、約12時間にわたって冷凍庫れいとうこに入れられず室温しつおんで放置されていたことが判明しました。同庁は調理の工程こうていに問題もんだいがあったと認めています。

According to local media, an initial investigation by the National Nutrition Agency revealed that 200 to 300 fish used for the meals had been left at room temperature for about 12 hours without being stored in a freezer. The agency acknowledged issues in the cooking process.

この無料給食は、プラボウォ大統領が2024年の大統領選で掲げた主要しゅような公約こうやくの一つです。子どもや妊婦にんぷら約8300万人への提供を目指し、全国で調理拠点を急速に増やしてきました。しかし、その一方で各地で集団しゅうだん食中毒が相次いであいついでいます。

This free meal program was one of the key election pledges made by President Prabowo during the 2024 presidential election. Aiming to serve approximately 83 million people including children and pregnant women, cooking hubs were rapidly multiplied across the country. However, mass food poisoning cases have occurred one after another in various regions.

国家栄養庁は9月7日、全国にある調理拠点のうち約2000カ所について、義務付けられている衛生管理えいせいかんりの認証にんしょうを申請しんせいしていなかったとして、運営うんえいを一時停止したと発表しました。

On September 7, the National Nutrition Agency announced that it had temporarily suspended operations at approximately 2,000 cooking hubs nationwide for failing to apply for mandatory hygiene management certification.
