16日午前10時ごろ、岐阜県池田町片山の林道で、ランニングをしていた大垣市の70代男性がツキノワグマに襲われました。男性は右のほおを爪でひっかかれ、軽傷を負いました。
At around 10 a.m. on the 16th, a man in his 70s from Ogaki City was attacked by a Japanese black bear while running on a forest road in Katayama, Ikeda Town, Gifu Prefecture. He was scratched on the right cheek and sustained a minor injury.
男性は市内の病院に搬送されましたが、命に別条はないということです。男性によると、襲ってきたクマは体長50センチから60センチほどの子グマだったといいます。現場は林道の入り口から約2.5キロの地点でした。
The man was taken to a hospital in the city, but his life is not in danger. According to him, the attacking bear was about 50 to 60 centimeters long and appeared to be a cub. The incident occurred about 2.5 kilometers from the entrance of the forest road.
これを受け、池田町は当面の間、池田山への入山を禁止し、周辺の林道や登山道を通行止めにしました。警察と消防が現場周辺でパトロールを実施しています。町は防災行政無線やメールなどで住民に注意を呼びかけています。
In response, Ikeda Town has temporarily banned entry to Mount Ikeda and closed surrounding forest roads and hiking trails. Police and firefighters are conducting patrols around the site. The town is also urging residents to be careful through disaster prevention radio broadcasts and emails.
岐阜県によると、今年度に県内で確認されたクマの出没件数は16日現在で525件に上っています。8月7日には高山市でも50代の男性がツキノワグマに襲われてけがをする事故が起きていました。県は「ツキノワグマ出没注意情報」を発令し、生ゴミを放置しないなどの対策を呼び掛けています。
