接続：普通形 + の
the thing… / the…; nominalization. Nounize events with specific, close nuances; Can also replace known nouns in conversation.
注意 / Note：Check connection form and context; Avoid mechanical application of translation.
比較 / Compare：Compare with other models of the same article to distinguish functions and nuances. Same 課: 〜こと — these models are often mistaken for each other, read the 接続 line carefully and then decide.
音楽を聞くのが好きです。
I like listening to music.
赤いのを見せてください。
Show me the red one.
彼が来ないのを知っています。
I know that person didn't come.
