接続：名の／動辞書形 ＋ かたわら
Besides the main job of..., we also do.... Parallel two jobs for a long time.
注意 / Note：The first part is the main job/duty. Other 〜ながら (at the same time, short): 〜かたわら are two long-term activities.
比較 / Compare：〜かたわら（two long-term things, the first one is the main thing）／〜ながら（at the same time, short: 歩きながら話す）.
よく出る形 / Common form：名の／動辞書形＋かたわら.
彼は会社に勤めるかたわら、小説を書いている。
He works for a company and writes novels.
彼女は育児のかたわら、ボランティア活動を続けている。
She raises her children while maintaining volunteer activities.
