東京・伊豆大島にレベル5の土砂災害特別警報　命を守る行動を

気象庁きしょうちょうは21日、東京都とうきょうとの大島町おおしままちに対して、「レベル5土砂災害どしゃさいがい特別警報とくべつけいほう」を発表しました。この地域では、土砂災害どしゃさいがいがすでに発生はっせいしている可能性かのうせいが極めてきわめて高くなっています。

On the 21st, the Japan Meteorological Agency issued a "Level 5 Landslide Emergency Warning" for Oshima Town, Tokyo. The probability that landslides have already occurred in this area is extremely high.

レベル5の警報は、5つの段階だんかいのうち最も危険きけん度が高く、住民じゅうみんの生命に危険が迫るせまる状況を示します。気象庁きしょうちょうは、建物たてものの2階へ移動するなど、直ちにただちに命を守る行動こうどうをとるよう求めています。

A Level 5 warning indicates the highest level of danger among the five stages, signifying an imminent threat to residents' lives. The Meteorological Agency is urging people to take immediate action to protect their lives, such as moving to the second floor of a building.

伊豆大島いずおおしまでは、過去かこの事例じれいとして2013年にも大雨による大規模だいきぼな土砂災害が起きました。その際は、死者ししゃと行方不明者ゆくえふめいしゃが合わせて39人にのぼる大きな被害ひがいが記録されています。

As a past precedent, a large-scale landslide caused by heavy rain struck Izu Oshima in 2013. At that time, severe damage was recorded, with a combined total of 39 people dead or missing.

気象庁は周囲しゅういの状況じょうきょうをしっかり確認し、崖崩れがけくずれや土石流どせきりゅうなどの重大な災害に対して最大級の警戒けいかいを続けるよう呼びかけています。

The Meteorological Agency is calling on people to carefully check their surroundings and remain on maximum alert against serious disasters such as landslides and mudflows.
