演歌歌手の坂本冬美さんが過去の誤報に驚愕　「死亡説」で初のスポーツ紙1面を飾った思い出を語る

2026年9月25日に放送されたフジテレビの番組「ぽかぽか」に、演歌えんか歌手かしゅの坂本冬美さかもとふゆみさんが出演しゅつえんしました。番組の中で、彼女は2002年に活動かつどうを一時的いちじてきに休止きゅうししていた時期じきのことを振り返りました。

On 25 September 2026, enka singer Fuyumi Sakamoto appeared on the Fuji TV show "Pokapoka". During the broadcast, she reflected on the period in 2002 when she temporarily suspended her career.

坂本さんは約1年間の休養きゅうよう期間きかん中、髪を切って結べないようにし、アメリカや日本国内こくないを旅して気分をリフレッシュさせていたと語りました。しかし、彼女が各地を旅行していたため、世間では病気びょうきで休んでいるのではないかという噂うわさが広まりましたひろまりました。

Sakamoto shared that during her one-year break, she cut her hair short so she couldn't tie it, and refreshed herself by traveling to the U.S. and around Japan. However, because she was traveling around, rumors spread that she was taking time off due to illness.

ある日の朝、坂本さんがスポーツ新聞しんぶんを開くと、一面いちめんに「坂本冬美 死亡しぼう」という衝撃的な記事きじが掲載けいさいされていました。一生懸命いっしょうけんめい活動していた時には小さくしか取り上げられなかったため、初めての一面が死亡説だったことに驚いたおどろいたそうです。

One morning, when Sakamoto opened a sports newspaper, she was shocked to see a headline reading "Fuyumi Sakamoto Dead" right on the front page. She mentioned that while working hard she only received small coverage, so she was astonished that her first front-page appearance was a rumor of her death.

坂本さんは「私はここにいるのに」と思いながらも、その大きな扱いを前向きまえむきに捉えてとらえて笑いに変えました。彼女は当時とうじの出来事を苦笑くしょうしながら振り返りふりかえり、スタジオを和ませました。

Though thinking "but I'm right here...", Sakamoto took the large coverage positively and turned it into a laugh. She recalled the incident with a wry smile, creating a warm atmosphere in the studio.
