Command, prohibition, obligation — 命令形, なさい, なければならない, てもいい
接続：Vた形／Vない形 ＋ ほうがいい
Should…, it's better to… — advice quite strong, meaning 'otherwise it's not good'.
注意 / Note：Affirmative uses た形（行ったほうがいい）, negative uses ない形（行かないほうがいい）. This is a point that often goes wrong.
比較 / Compare：〜たらどうですか（mild suggestion）／〜たほうがいい（strong recommendation）／〜なければならない（mandatory）.
よく出る形 / Common form：〜なら、Vたほうがいいですよ。
熱があるなら、病院に行ったほうがいいですよ。
If you have a fever, you should go to the hospital.
夜遅くコーヒーを飲まないほうがいいです。
Late at night, you should not drink coffee.
傘を持っていったほうがいいと思います。
I think I should bring an umbrella.
