Tense in text — How to use る/た/ている in a paragraph
用法：状態・継続・結果の残存
〜ている is used when a state remains or an action is continuing; 〜た only states that the job has ended.
注意 / Note：In the text, 〜ている maintains the phrase “still the same now”; 〜ていた states the state at the past time being told.
比較 / Compare：〜ている（ongoing state）／〜た（finished）／〜ていた（past time state）.
よく出る形 / Common form：Keyword 今も・現在・年々 → select 〜ている；十年前・当時 → select 〜た／〜ていた.
開花日が年々早くなっている。
The flower bloom date gets earlier every year.（the trend continues）
夫は外交的な仕事、妻は客の世話をしていた。
The husband takes care of foreign affairs, the wife takes care of receiving guests.（status at that time）
駅前の再開発は今も進められている。
The redevelopment in front of the station is still underway.
