Purpose & means — so that…, in order to…, by…
接続：動辞書形 ＋ べく ※する→すべく／するべく
To…, to…. State the purpose of the action, the formal way of saying 〜ために.
注意 / Note：Hard writing (newspapers, documents). The following sentences do not use commands, invitations, or suggestions.
比較 / Compare：〜べく（purpose, hard writing）／〜ために（neutral, widely used）／〜んがため（more drastic purpose）.
よく出る形 / Common form：動辞書形＋べく。する→すべく・するべく。The following sentence does not use an order/suggestion.
問題を解決すべく、専門家チームが結成された。
A group of experts has been set up to solve the problem.
真相を確かめるべく、現地へ向かった。
I went to the scene to verify the truth.
事態を収拾すべく、関係者が緊急に集まった。
To arrange the situation, relevant people held an emergency meeting.
