台風27号（チョーイワン）が発生　発達しながら北上し小笠原諸島に接近のおそれ

2026年10月1日午前3時、マリアナ諸島まりあなしょとう付近で熱帯低気圧ねったいていきあつが発達はったつし、台風たいふう27号（チョーイワンチョーイワン）が発生はっせいしました。これは10月に入って初めて発生した台風です。中心気圧は998ヘクトパスカルで、西北西せいほくせいへ時速15キロで進んでいます。

At 3:00 a.m. on 1 October 2026, a tropical depression near the Mariana Islands strengthened into Typhoon No. 27 (Choi-wan). This is the first typhoon to form in October. The central pressure is 998 hPa, and it is moving west-northwest at 15 km/h.

この台風は西へ進んだあと、次第に北上する進路しんろをとると予測よそくされています。4日ごろには暴風域ぼうふういきを伴う強い台風になる見込みです。コースが西寄りに傾いた場合には、小笠原諸島おがさわらしょとうに接近せっきんして荒天こうてんとなる危険性があります。

The typhoon is forecast to move west before gradually heading north. Around the 4th, it is expected to become a strong typhoon accompanied by a storm zone. If the path veers further west, there is a risk it will approach the Ogasawara Islands and bring severe weather.

Simulation results from meteorological agencies around the world show variations in the timing and location of the northward turn. Therefore, to increase forecast certainty, more time is needed. Residents are urged to check the latest information frequently.

今回の台風は、9月23日の26号（スリゲスリゲ）以来約1週間ぶりの発生となります。27号の発生スピードは統計とうけい史上6番目の早さです。2026年は台風の数が多く、9月末時点の累計るいけいは平年へいねんより約7個多くなっています。秋の台風は移動速度そくどが速く、大きな被害ひがいをもたらしやすいため注意が必要です。

This typhoon formed about a week after Typhoon No. 26 (Surigae) on September 23. The speed of Typhoon No. 27's formation ranks as the 6th earliest in recorded statistics. In 2026, typhoon activity has been high, with the cumulative total through late September about 7 higher than average. Autumn typhoons move at high speeds and easily cause heavy damage, so caution is needed.

気象庁などは早めの台風対策たいさくを呼びかけています。なお、1月から10月まで毎月台風が発生したのは、1951年からの記録で3回目となります。台風名「チョーイワン」は香港ほんこんの加盟国かめいこく提案による名称めいしょうで、彩りを意味する「彩雲さいうん」や地元の観光地かんこうちである「彩雲邨さいうんそん」に由来しています。

Meteorological agencies are urging people to prepare typhoon measures early. Notably, having typhoons occur every month from January to October has happened only three times since records began in 1951. The typhoon name "Choi-wan," proposed by Hong Kong, originates from the Chinese word for iridescent cloud ("Choi-wan") and is also tied to a local housing complex and tourist spot called "Choi Wan Estate."
