Purpose, reason, reverse, list — ために, ように, ので, のに, し, たり
接続：Vて形＋も／い形〜くても／な形・N ＋ でも
Even though… it's still… — negative condition: even though the condition is established, the result remains unchanged.
注意 / Note：Combined with question words to mean 'regardless': いくら〜ても, どんなに〜ても, 何度〜ても.
比較 / Compare：雨が降っても行きます（even if it rains, still go）／雨が降ったら行きません（if it rains, don't go）.
よく出る形 / Common form：（いくら／どんなに）〜ても、〜。
雨が降っても、試合は行います。
Even though it rained, the match still took place.
いくら食べても太りません。
No matter how much I eat, I won't get fat.
高くても買いたいです。
Even though it's expensive, I still want to buy it.
