Lesson flow — predict the gaps in the reading question
ポイント：主張のサイン
The writer's opinion lies in the way the sentence ends: 〜のではないか・〜べきだ・〜に違いない・〜と考えられる・〜のだ.
注意 / Note：On the contrary, the forms 〜と言われている・〜そうだ are other people's ideas, not the writer's policy - a problem or a trap here.
比較 / Compare：Author's policy: 〜べきだ・〜のではないか・〜に違いない・〜のだ；other people's opinion: 〜と言われている・〜そうだ・〜らしい.
よく出る形 / Common form：Ask about "the author's intention" → look for sentences with 〜べきだ・〜のではないか（usually at the end of the paragraph）.
この法律は改正すべきだ。
This law should be amended.（advocacy）
この説は正しいと言われている。
People say this theory is correct. (Other people's opinion, not the writer's)
この点はもっと議論されるべきではないか。
Should this point be discussed further?
