rain

1. 雨が強くなったので、タクシーで帰りました。

   The rain got heavier so I went home by taxi.

2. 雨の日は駅までバスに乗ります。

   On a rainy day I took the bus to the station.

snow

1. 山の上にはまだ雪が残っています。

   There is still snow on the mountain.

2. 雪で電車が少し遅れました。

   The train was a bit delayed because of the snow.

cloudy sky

1. 朝は曇りでしたが、午後は晴れました。

   The morning was cloudy but the afternoon cleared.

2. 曇りの日は空の色が白く見えます。

   On cloudy days, the sky looks whiter.

hot (weather)

1. 暑い日は冷たいお茶を多めに飲みます。

   On hot days I drink more cold tea.

2. この部屋は午後になると暑くなります。

   This room gets hot in the afternoon.

cold (weather)

1. 寒いので、窓を閉めてもいいですか。

   It's cold, can I close the window?

2. 朝は寒かったですが、昼は暖かくなりました。

   It's cold in the morning but by noon it's warmer.

1. 暖かい部屋で少し休みましょう。

   Take a break in a warm room.

2. 春になると、だんだん暖かくなります。

   When spring comes, the weather gradually warms up.

cool

1. 夕方は風が涼しくて気持ちがいいです。

   The afternoon breeze is cool and pleasant.

   I had lunch in a cool place.

spring

1. 春には公園の花がきれいに咲きます。

   In spring, the flowers in the park bloom beautifully.

2. 春休みに京都へ行く予定です。
