town, street

1. この町は海が近くて、魚がおいしいです。

   This town is near the sea so the fish is very delicious.

2. 町の中心に大きい駅があります。

   There is a large station in the center of town.

1. 駅で友だちと待ち合わせをします。

   I'll meet you at the station.

2. 次の駅で地下鉄に乗り換えます。

   I changed to the metro at the next station.

1. この道は夜になると暗いです。

   This road is dark at night.

2. 道を聞かれたので、地図を見せました。

   Someone asked for directions so I showed them the map.

1. 車で空港まで送ってもらいました。

   I was taken to the airport by car.

2. 車を止める場所はありますか。

   Is there car parking?

1. 自転車で川のそばを走りました。

   I cycled along the river.

2. 雨の日は自転車に乗りません。

   On rainy days I don't ride my bike.

1. バスが来るまで、ここで待ちましょう。

   Please wait here until the bus arrives.

2. このバスは空港へ行きますか。

   Does this bus go to the airport?

electric train

1. 電車の窓から山が見えました。

   I saw the mountains through the train window.

2. 朝の電車はとても混んでいます。

   The morning train is very crowded.

subway

1. 地下鉄の出口はデパートの前です。

   The subway exit is in front of the department store.

2. 地下鉄で行くと、雨にぬれません。

   If you take the subway, you won't get wet in the rain.

taxi

1. 荷物が重いので、タクシーを呼びました。

   The luggage was heavy so I called a taxi.

2. 終電のあと、タクシーで家に帰りました。

   After the last train, I went home by taxi.

walk

1. 駅からホテルまで十分ほど歩きます。

   I walked about ten minutes from the station to the hotel.

2. 健康のために、毎晩少し歩いています。

   For my health, every night I walk a little.
