注意 / Note：TWO meanings, distinguished by the following clause. Standing alone is «even» — give an extreme example to infer the rest (子どもでさえ知っている ⇒ adults, of course). With 〜ば it becomes «just» — see 〜さえ〜ば.
比較 / Compare：Same song: 〜さえ〜ば／〜でさえ. These models are often mistakenly chosen for each other — carefully read the 接続 and nuances above and then decide.
よく出る形 / Common form：名詞（＋助詞）＋さえ。After a noun referring to PEOPLE usually becomes 〜でさえ. The shade is stronger than 〜も.
子どもでさえ知っている。
Even children know.
水さえあれば生きられる。
As long as there is water, one can live.
忙しくて、食事をする時間さえない。
