比較 / Compare：Same song: 〜だけでも／〜だけあって. These models are often mistakenly chosen for each other — carefully read the 接続 and nuances above and then decide.
よく出る形 / Common form：普通形＋だけましだ。Or followed by a concession with が・けど. Self-comforting voice.
給料は低いが、仕事があるだけましだ。
Low salary but at least there's a job.
雨でも、台風でないだけましだ。
Even though it's raining, at least it's not a storm.
狭い部屋だが、駅から近いだけましだ。
The room was cramped, but being close to the station was still helpful.
