Understand the writer's thoughts
読む前に：「にぎやかだった」＝ positive comments；「うるさい」＝ negative. Understand the writer's feelings: the same thing but the words chosen (期待がふくらむ / 疲れてしまい / どうでもよくなる) reveal the true attitude.
うちのそばに小さいレストランができたので、さっそく行ってみた。外には小さく店の名前が書いてあるだけ。派手なかざりは一つもなく、落ち着いた雰囲気だ。入ってみると３つほどテーブルがあり、汚れ一つない真っ白なテーブルクロスがかけられていた。私は窓のそばの席に坐り、メニューを聞いた。どれもとても美味しそうで、期待がふくらんだ。
その時、１０人ほどの集団が入ってきて、レストランは満員になった。彼らはこの店によく来るらしく、メニューも見ないでどんどん注文をし始めた。私は自分の注文が後になってしまうと少し心配になりながら、一番人気があるというAセットを注文した。
私の方が先に店に入ったのに、やはり私の料理は彼らの料理の後に運ばれてきた。彼らに先に注文されたからだ。その上、料理を待っている間ずっと、彼らがおいしそうに料理を食べながら、大声で話をするのを聞かされた。料理が来たときにはもう疲れてしまい、味はどうでもよくなってしまった。
