ウクライナ　防空体制の不足を訴え　迎撃ミサイルの支援を各国に要請

ウクライナの大統領だいとうりょうは、ロシアによる新たな攻撃こうげきを受けて、防空ぼうくう体制たいせいの不足ふそくが深刻しんこくだと訴うったえました。

Ukraine's president said that following a fresh round of Russian attacks, the shortfall in the country's air-defence system has become severe.

今回の攻撃では弾道だんどうミサイルへの対応力たいおうりょくが足りず、迎撃げいげきが十分にできませんでした。その結果けっか、民間みんかんの建物にも被害ひがいが広がったと説明せつめいしています。

In this attack, the capacity to counter ballistic missiles fell short and interception was incomplete. As a result, damage spread to civilian buildings as well.

大統領は、必要な防衛ぼうえいシステムや迎撃ミサイルは「将来しょうらいのための備そなえではなく、今まさに人命じんめいを守るために必要だ」と強調きょうちょうしました。

The president stressed that the defence systems and interceptor missiles required are “not preparation for the future, but something needed right now to save human lives.”

その上で、同盟国どうめいこくに対して支援しえんの加速かそくを求めました。供給きょうきゅうが遅おくれれば、市民しみんの犠牲ぎせいがさらに増えるという危機感ききかんを示しています。

On that basis, he urged allied nations to accelerate their support, expressing deep concern that further delays in supply would push civilian casualties higher still.

国際こくさい社会では、追加ついか支援の規模きぼや時期じきをめぐる協議きょうぎが続いています。ただし、各国それぞれの事情じじょうもあり、調整ちょうせいには時間じかんがかかるとみられています。

Within the international community, discussions continue over the scale and timing of additional aid. Because each country has its own domestic circumstances, however, reaching agreement is expected to take time.
